Intrinsically safe resistance simulator. The device can be used as a barrier separator between an RTD resistance sensor (e.g., Pt100) installed in a hazardous area and a controller located in a safe area that reads this signal. This means that the device's input measures the sensor's resistance and simulates the same value at its output. The control signal can also be an analog signal, e.g., 0-10V, 4-20mA. All circuits are galvanically isolated from each other.
